I use TweetDeck regularly. I prefer TweetDeck to the web service of Twitter because TweetDeck allows me to create groups and separate users that talk about similar things; Ohio University friends, friends from Speech etc. Well, Twitter has released its newest feature THE LIST.
If you're like me, you may have eliminated the initial pop-up box at the top of the Twitter feed. There still is a way for you to create your personalized lists!
Here's how...
No.1 Click "New List"

No. 2 Decide what the list will be titled and whether or not it's public or private.

No. 3 Create your list and search for friends you want to be added to it.
No. 4 Enjoy your new list. Here you'll be able to see certain twitter users' updates. It's a great resource to filter through tweets if you like using the web service over other Twitter applications!
*Remember that your lists are visible to others and you will publicly appear on other people's lists. This is a great way to network with more people*
I hope I was able to help...let me know what you think of the new list option.
